Carmen D. Ortiz

Founder & President, Transcendent Financial Living, PBC

Carmen is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in education, finance, and spiritual transformation. Originally from Puerto Rico, she earned her Ph.D. in education from Texas Woman’s University at 24, then built a career in college teaching and international consulting before pursuing an MBA in Investment Management at Columbia University.

She spent time as a Wall Street investment banker before founding her own financial planning and investment advisory firm in 1988. Today she’s at the forefront of co-creating an emergent ethical-spiritual business model teaching New Earth Investing and building Oneness Financial Empowerment, Inc., a not-for-profit, alongside Transcendent Financial Living, a Public Benefit Corporation.

Carmen is committed to democratizing transcendent financial planning, guided by her life’s purpose: to serve as a “warrior of Oneness supporting the well-being of All, so that humanity and the planet can thrive.”
